The Tchaikovsky Ballet from the Russian city of Perm is one of their nation's most distinguished artistic companies. Featuring 65 enchanting dancers, lavish sets, and dazzling costumes, their productions have been praised not only in Russia, but also in tours to more than twenty countries. For their return to Newlin Hall, the company will perform Tchaikovsky's classic Sleeping Beauty. Following a recent performance in Los Angles, the critic for the Los Angeles Times called the company's Sleeping Beauty "one of the year's indispensable ballet experiences."
